Haridwar is the Gateway to Scared state of Uttarakhand.It is believed that during the Great Samudra manthan ,few drops of the Amrit (the elixir of Immortality accidentally dropped in the city of Haridwar.Therefore this place is the regarded holy .Many devotees from all over the world came here to get rid of their sins by bathing in scared river Ganges all over the year. There are many spiritual ashrams in haridwar where people from all over the world came in search of Truth or meaning of life , actually Haridwar is mixture of Spiritualism and Materialism ….full of paradoxes …if one has to find true Master in Haridwar than it can be alomost of impossible .Most of the Ashrams are having false images of Indian spiritualism but Yes ,the true seekers of truth may find the path of Truth in This holy land .What i felt that there are two faces of Haridwar ..one which most of the people see…and the other one which only appears for the very Few people.
